The Husband Shirt | Day 2

Day 2! Lets do this :)

Today was all about The Husband Shirt in pink by Misha Nonoo. No this post is not sponsored in any way, I am just obsessed with this designer and brand. The Husband Shirts have seriously been the button down of my dreams. I’ve tried multiple button downs, but the fit and styling of this one is just exactly what I wanted.

Anyways, lets get to it. Here is my “elevated” look.

I paired my pink Husband Shirt with my pink plaid pants. I felt a pink on pink outfit would be a lot of fun and not something I would necessarily wear in my day to day. I thought about pairing my hot pink M. Gemi heels with this outfit, but thought that could be pink overload. Which is saying a lot because I love my pink. So instead I went with my sparkly Louboutin heels. They are definitely a fun statement shoe, while still not overpowering the outfit. I added my favorite chunky snake necklace to top off the look. I love this necklace, and I refuse to get rid of him but somehow he never makes it out of the house.

And for day 2 of real life activities, I got together with a couple coworkers/ friends and met a former coworker/ friend for some wine and catching up. Ok, I was the one with the wine. The friend we met up with is whose townhouse I actually lived in while he traveled with the circus. While my work can drive me crazy, I feel forever blessed by the relationships I have gotten out of it.

I chose to go with my pink Husband shirt because its polished, and easy going for some after work drinks. I paired it with my light wash jeans and some sneakers for chic, but easy to change into after work. I brought my Florence Blazer (also Misha Nonoo) just incase I needed a light jacket over my shoulders. I get cold easily, so I’m never without a jacket of some kind.

To accessorize I kept it simple with some of my favorite go-to pieces.

Rings- my stacked rings from my boyfriend from christmas a couple years ago and my friendship ring from Andrea over at @acjarrett on instagram

Choker- gifted from Sakura over at Midori Linea (use code Katie at check out to help me out with this space)

Bangle- a forever old favorite from one of the first Box of Styles by Rachel Zoe.
